That's apparently the premise behind Comedy Central's Kenny Vs Spenny. This preposterous programs is a Canadian import, watch (if you can) as two life long friends try to out do each other in competitions like: 'Who Can Blow The Biggest Fart,' 'Who Can Commit the Most Crime,' 'First Guy Who Gets A Boner Loses,' or 'Who Can Be Tied To A Goat The Longest.' If you've dreamed of a show that features two not-that-attractive guys running around in boxer briefs (or worse, speedos) being tortured or engaging in a fart competition, then by all means don't miss this 2 DVD set. This show pushes the limits of decency, the highlight of the fart show is when one of the guys shit himself. You can almost smell the fumes coming off the screen. This program can be truly disgusting, gross, and beyond tasteless - besides being perfectly awful and criminally insulting to one's intelligence. I could easily picture some innocent viewer vomiting violently while watching the 'Who can eat more meat' episode, one sure to send vegans rushing for the exits. I wanted to toss out my TV set after viewing this grotesque abomination. Matt Stone & Trey Parker took over as executive producers at some point; episodes they produced like 'Who Can Handle More Torture' and 'First Guy To Stop Singing Loses' are far less grotesque and way funny. Ah well, the dumbing down of American society continues unhindered. Thanks a lot Comedy Central (and Canada). It's inconceivable to me that a show like this got pitched much less produced but Kenny vs Spenny is a guilty pleasure that tends to grows on you. Let's face it, if you're interested in the DVD it's because you enjoy
this freakish melange and there's a lot to like. Even more so on this
new DVD release with an unaired episode, deleted scenes, audio commentary,
and a mini-documentary on the boys are offered as bonus features. TV on DVD Reviews: |
