Dinosaurs - The Complete Third and Fourth Seasons One of the top selling DVDs in the country right now is Dinosaurs - The Complete Third and Fourth Seasons. This is another pick for great summer DVD viewing, something you can take on vacation for everyone to enjoy. Produced by Jim Henson (The Muppets), Dinosaurs is a raucously funny look at domestic life through prehistoric eyes. This was one of the rare TV shows that had a final episode and you'll find it here in this collection. I won't spoil the surprise ending but it's a great capper to a uniquely oddball series. Funny, thought-provoking, this series from the early-1990s is one the entire family will enjoy (well, it may be too much for children under 10). Kids relate to it on one level while parents enjoy the social commentary and cultural jabs. You want extras? There are lots! Like never-seen-on-TV episodes; audio commentary for the 'Nature Calls' and 'Into the Woods'; and a couple of highly informative (and funny) mini-documentaries. Irreverent, brash, if you like Family Guy chances are you'll enjoy Dinosaurs - The Complete Third and Fourth Seasons as well - and it's a possible future collector's item. TV on DVD Reviews: |
