SUNDAY
NOSTALGIA A big 1950s nostalgia boom was underway in 1973 but this show never caught on and hasn't been seen since. It was a pleasing revival that lost little of the charm of The Adventures of Ozzie & Harriet, retaining the same slow pace, only the set got a slight makeover (the Nelson's kitchen never changed in the 14 seasons they were on TV). Here's the first part of the pilot to Ozzie's Girls, the other two parts are also posted on You Tube.
Also from 1970's syndication - one of my favorite game shows, The New Treasure Hunt, I just loved the way host Geoff Edwards used to fake out the contestants, he was a lot funnier that Howie Mandel is on Deal or No Deal. The top prize went to $50,000 by the end of the series, well over $200,000 in today's dollars.
Remember Tattletales from the same era? It followed Match Game in the afternoons in the mid-1970s. Tattletales was a hit but it wasn't when it was first attempted in 1970 as He Said, She Said. Sunday,

50 Freegan Lifestyle Habits for the Jobless is an interesting list of things you can do to enhance your life in these tough times. One of my favorite big screen actors Harvey Keitel joins the cast of ABC's Life on Mars this fall - it's his first regularly scheduled series role. Friday,
